The Windsor Forest Frogs are looking for swim coaches for the 2012 season. A head coach and assistant coaches are being sought. The season extends from mid-May through the first week in August. If you are interested in applying for one of these positions, please contact
Kelly Kale at 229-2944
What a season the FROGS had this year (2011)  We finished second in Division II with a 5-1 record.  The only loss of the season was to Greensprings, and at that meet we only had about half

of our swim team in town for the meet.  We had another great turnout for the mini-meet and the Champs meet with several of our swimmers finishing in the top 4 at Champs.

Kassidy Hatcher finished 1st in the 6 and under 25 Free; Jacob Sprigg finished 2nd in the 25 Free and 3rd in the 25 Back for the boys 7-8 division; Caleb Aman finished 3rd in the boys 11-12 50 Breast; Carter Kale finished 4th in the 50 Fly, 3rd in the 100 Individual Medley, and 1st in the 50 Back with a new team record time. Our boys’ medley relay team of Aman, C. Kale, Ben Westbrock, an
d Blake Lowery finished 4th overall.
None of this team’s success would have been possible without the dedicated hard work of our coaching staff.  Michelle and Paul Schisa were terrific at getting our kids motivated to work hard and to have a great time.  We sure hope that the “Dynamic Duo Schisa Siblings” will be able to return to us next year.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to our tadpole coaches, Jake Westbrock and Carter Kale, and their assistants Michael Lemley and Blake Lowery.  They spent the summer teaching our future FROGS the ins and outs of the swimming world, and ended their season with the annual Tadpole Meet. It is always a great time watching the 3 and 4 year olds swim the length of the pool for the first time to a crowd of screaming adults. The smiles were endless all around the pool deck.
We would like to thank all of the parents for their help and support this past year.  We could not have had such a successful season without you.  There are a few that must be mentioned by name – Jane Oren for all of her hard work as VPSU rep. and head of the officials, Maria Schisa for bookkeeping, Matt Lowery for recordkeeping, and the Macomber family for concessions.
We are taking a break for a few months, but plan to start planning and assigning tasks for next year in January.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with feedback from this past year-.  We cannot make things better if we don’t know there is a problem.  Again, thank you for all of your support.
